The outlaws were none other than Harve Parsons and Clair Vest, the men who had tormented him and his fellow soldiers of the 6th United States Colored Infantry Regiment. While they had fought on the same side, Parsons and Vest had mocked, maimed, and tried to kill Bill several times throughout the years.

Bill had never sought out revenge. Now that the two outlaws had their hands on Annette, though, he would not hesitate to kill them.
