Interesting romance

Bind Me is a fantasy novel in the Immortal Vices and Virtues universe, but can be read as a standalone.

Sasha and Kaden were both strong willed characters, and I enjoyed them individually as well as a couple. The storyline was intriguing, steamy and full of action packed moments.

Lexi Evans and Eric Fox did wonderful job portraying these characters. The narration was fun.

More Chowder!

Sasha was a bounty hunter who fell victim to politics and found herself exiled to Norway. Having lived her entire life in South Africa, the cold lands should have felt foreign, but instead felt like home. And what should have been a fresh start is where her past caught up to her. When the suspect she's looking for leads her into the path of her true mate, Sasha and Kaden find themselves in the middle of a centuries-old family drama full of deception and danger.

A Kraken and mermaid romance - insta-love/lust and a mystery thriller. This could have benefited from a little more world-building and relationship-building. I know it is a shared world book but if marketed as a standalone, it needed more backstory. The pacing was erratic as well. It would drag and then a major plot point would be introduced and settled within pages. And although the focus was on Sasha, I felt that Kaden's character was more solid if not exactly always likable. However, both characters were overshadowed by the true star of the story - Chowder. He was the most interesting, entertaining, and adorable part of the story. I'm pretty sure I could read an entire story about this talking otter!

This story was narrated by Lexi Evans and Eric Fox. Both were excellent when relating the story, but Lexi was too much when 'acting out' the emotions. Again, my favorite was Chowder. Such a cute little voice.

Bind Me

Bind Me is another standalone book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues: Shadow Shifter Bonds series. All of these books in this series can all be read as standalones. They are in the same world and a have some crossover moments, but you never feel like you are missing things.

Lexi Evans and Eric Fox did a great job narrating this book.

What is Love?

The story begins with the introduction to female character as a child who sustains incredible loss and heartbreak. The male character has also had heartbreak in his youth and now must find his fated mate or become an uncontrollable creature
Both main characters are lovable and you want to see them find a happy ending.
Mythical creatures are abundant
Have to say I absolutely loved Chowder!!!! Voice was perfect
Well worth your time and credit or $
Enjoyable narration
