A good compilation of what the African-Americans to our history. It’s a good read for us to engage in especially with the racism that’s almost killing them now. This makes me feel proud for them and enabled me to see them in a different light.

The information was rich, but the narration was subpar. When the Haitian revolution section started I could literally hear the man yawning and clearing his throat multiple times. So unprofessional.

Horrible Narration

I only completed the book because I was interested in the content. I was thoroughly annoyed with the sigh, coughing and blatant yawning during this narration. Could these things not be edited out? No one wants to hear this during the narration of a purchased book! I do know who NOT to look for in a narrator.

Wow
