Quick and easy to follow

This book is quick and easy to follow. I was thrown off a couple of times by the choice of words the author decided to use when describing the Black Panthers, but other than that, I like the book.

Needs better promotion

This is the kind of book people want to silence. You have so much to gain.

Wonderful introduction to black American History. I felt that some sections could have used more fleshing out, but this lived up to its name as a beginning look into black history and the history of America.
