likeable characters

The storyline is plausible. The characters are believable. The bad guy was refreshing since he wasn't a fundamentalist Muslim character.

AI

Great story, AI voice performance could be just a little bit better overall not bad just it was not consistent in certain areas.That should deter you from the story.

Narration

This is a good story that is can you see it to listen to and well written. I can't say I'm a fan of AI narration. This AI was better than another book I listen to, but it still lacks some of the inflections that should be there. For me it's a distraction if it's not said the same way as a human.

AI reading is awful

I thought the story was dull and it dragged out. I did not enjoy the listening and can not recommend.
I did not know the two offers were going to be read by AI either or I would not have downloaded.
Thus far the AI reads are just monotone and there is little distinction between characters voices. The reading has lots of flaws in that AI breaks up a sentence. AI reads all but the last three words in a sentence, then a dead audio space, before it speaks the last three words but those last three words become a run on sentenced into the start of the next sentence it is reading. Most aggravating.

Virtual voice is trash

Decent story and plot however the virtual voice has no intonation, inflection and like a virtual voice didn’t understand how to narrate the story. Would love to hear these read by Ray Porter.
