Love this galaxy (no spoilers)

This is a great continuation of The Black Ocean galaxy. I l enjoyed each new character introduced and relished the bits and pieces we see in the future of characters that were featured in the Black Ocean series. There were so many parts where I was completely thrown by the twists and developments of many of the missions. If you enjoyed the original Black Ocean stories, you will definitely enjoy this spin off of one of its main characters.

Wesley Wesley steals the show!

The overall mercy for hire series was OK. It got so much better with the introduction of Wesley Wesley, and then hearing Wesley Wesley‘s growth with Kubo. Those two carried this entire book series. Without them, I honestly probably would’ve turned it off along time ago. There was a mini mission with Kubo and Wesley. That one was hands-down, the best mini mission/mission in the entire book. After hearing all of Wesley’s story you get hooked to his character. There is something genuine about him that every other character lacks. I have listened to Mission 5 Sunshine of Your Cult where Wesley shows up a few times now. Gets better each time! All in all, if you like the original black ocean series with the Mobius crew, this one is worth getting, but get the 16 mission pack bundle.

Love the Black Ocean

I have listened to all the Black Ocean stories so many times and definitely love them all.
this one, I love because of the secondary characters more than anything else. I love Wesley Wesley and watching how Tiffany grew from a whiney teenager to a villain without completely losing herself.
seeing Kubu grow up was absolutely wonderful as well. loved him from the start of Galaxy Outlaws. seeing him in this story and getting a nice conclusion to his story made me very happy. I'd love to see a story based on him and his adventures across the galaxy someday too.

now we get to Esper. I listened to this story in spite of Esper not because of her. I was so over her "my way or no way" morality by the end of Galaxy Outlaws but I wanted to listen to everything. I definitely don't regret listening to this story. the most enjoyable part for me was when Esper had no magic for a couple books. Allowed the secondary characters to really show their stuff.


overall, I recommend this story to everyone who loves the Black Ocean. well worth it

You’ve likely already spent Soooo many hours in the Black Ocean! Why would you not want more?? Do it.

Interesting twist on scifi

love the twist on typical sci-fi. instead of far fetched science that doesn't pan out, just make wizards a thing. love it!
