If you want to listen waste your $3 but this book if you could even call it that isn’t worth it, and can probably be found on YouTube.

The voices add a realism that a movie cannot. Even reading the words would not be as positioning me in the time period.

As others have said, this is not a collection of Fred Hampton’s speeches, as I’d hoped for. It’s other people talking, but unfortunately it’s very difficult if not impossible to understand much of what is said — the audio is generally poor quality, and often cuts out entirely. Even when the words can be heard, it’s never clear who is speaking, or in what context.

Please don’t waste your time, money, or Audible credits on this.

They were so authentic, and narrated well. Have to listen again to get the full perspective, asleep while listening woke up to listen more, but it had finished

I thought this would be a collection of speeches by Fred Hampton. It’s unclear who is talking at any given time or under what context, but these people are clearly not Fred Hampton. Can’t even understand what’s being said.

What the hell even is this?
