Well told story, intriguing characters, excellent narration.

I enjoyed this lengthy story of wartime plots and spies. I never feel satisfied that leaves loose endings. I do recommend and just be prepared to be patient for some future details.

Berlin 1933

First time author for me. Interesting start to a series. The story grew on me as it progressed. British gal frustrated with her life and family goes to Berlin in 1933 to act in a movie, ‘Black Roses’.

There she finds more excitement and intrigue than she could have imagined.

It was a fun listen and I look forward to the next book in the series.

This is such an interesting book. I love the story and characters and weaving together historical and fictional events.

Got to listen to for free and it turned out to be one of the best of its genre that I’ve read- love the focus on women.

At first I thought the book was too slow. I wanted it to move along. I didn’t realize at the time it was important for me to pay attention and not ask for speed. Very suspenseful at times bold just when you think you have got it something else entirely happens. Characters well developed it just 1933 now. I didn’t really realize hitlers rise to power started that early I highly recommend this book. Things in upper echelon of Nazi elite not what it seems
