Jeff and his best friend Keith are ice-fishing in the middle of Big Lake. It’s been hours without a bite, but they’re still having a blast - until the storm of the decade closes in. Soon, the entire landscape is buried in three feet of snow and the snowfall shows no sign of stopping. With their heaters low on power, Jeff and Keith are forced to make their way home through the whipping wind, low visibility, and the ominous crackling of ice beneath their feet.

Burr it's Freezing!!!

A good children's book about facing outside blizzard conditions. I am an adult, but I think kids would enjoy the story. No foul language or inapropriate scenes noted. The narrator is very good. I thought the genrator dying was believable. The descriptions of the characters surroundings was great. I gave it 4 stars because I felt some aspects of the story might not be possible. However, I have never lived in a location that could even come close to that amount of snow in such short amount of time. In the end, a good story worth the thirty minutes of my time to listen.
