[This is book 2 in a four book series entitled The Vampire Chronicles. The books should be read in order. "Vampire Island of Nightfall" is book 1).

The Binding Ceremony failed.

Mia was taken deep into the living heart of the island before the covenant could be completed — leaving the ancient magic unstable, the Council shaken, and Jude desperate to reach her.

Inside the mountain, Mia awakens to a presence that watches, listens… and wants. The island itself is alive, aware of her in ways no one expected — and deeply intrigued by her bond with Jude.

As Mia and Jude fight to stay connected despite the island’s growing influence, desire and danger intertwine. Their connection feeds something powerful beneath the stone — and not everyone is pleased by it.

Donors begin to disappear. Blood supplies grow uncertain. Political tensions fracture the Council. And whispers of darker forces stir beneath Nightfall’s carefully controlled society.

Blood & Desire of Nightfall deepens the romance, expands the mystery of the island, and raises the stakes as hidden threats begin to surface — proving that love may be the most dangerous magic of all.

A spicy vampire romantasy for of A Discovery of Witches and Twilight. Tropes include strangers to lovers, found family, "touch her you die", forced proximity and vampire lore.
