Wow!

This was a great book. I listened to it. It is read by the author who does a fabulous job. Lots of twists and surprises. It’s one of the best stories that I’ve read in a long time. Whether you prefer reading or listening, this one is worth your time.

Exceptional novel

This is absolutely a captivating novel from the very first few minutes of listening to it. the story is only enhanced that much more by having the author herself read it! I can't wait to start it over. this would be a wonderful movie.

The narrator

The book should have been edited better. The story is not bad, but so many scenes just went on and on and on way too long. This was made worse by the terrible narrator. The author should have given the job to a professional who could engage the audience.

Read if you enjoy violence

This book was too dark for my reading pleasure. It was uncomfortable on many fronts. I kept reading it thinking it would lighten up. Some relief at the end.
