This one stands alone

This book is well written and has a very good story. It keeps the listener interested from the first and does not stop . One of those your can't put down.

The author, Glenn Stevens provides an intriguing tale with a fresh look at the vampire lore and romance combination. Stevens captivates his listeners with war-like conflicts, action, romance, and more. He challenges one to think deeper about eternal life and romance beyond the usual vampire tale. Vivid descriptions, rich imagery, and well-developed characters provide an engaging story.

The narrator, Danielle LaRauf delivers a solid performance capturing and projecting the personalities of each character vividly. Her delivery is strong and energetic as well. Her voice is smooth with the proper amount of intonation.

This is an interesting and intriguing book with a fresh take on vampire lore.
