I loved the story however though I hated the fact that it was a virtual voice...it was very dull hard to get into the book or image the scenes other than that loved the story..

The A.I. narration.

This particular ai narration was a step up but truly lackluster. spare too many long pauses no voice intonation.
The story had multiple flashbacks, sadly in my opinion, were poorly written.
Perhaps if an editor was used it might have run smoother.
Again for two ninety-nine what can one expect?
No Iwill.not return it, rather just put in the archives as a don't bother reading book

Good story

It bounces back from past to present which virtual voice makes a bit confusing. There are parts I can't understand at all, potentially due to grammatical errors or incomplete editing. I don't mind virtual voice, I usually use TTS for digital books but with that I can read what was written. I get used to it after awhile. Auto narration is still a convenience, but it doesn't compare to voice actors. I will continue the series!

could not get past the ai narrator

I liked the story but I could not get past the ai narrator. It was better than some ai but the odd and randomly place inflections as well as mis-pronounced words just made it to hard to listen too and understand. I gave up after chapter 3 which is a bummer because it seemed like a really good story with multiple books in the series. but all are done via AI narration.
