Fresh from the Shadow Realm, Lena is dealing with the fact that her friend, Evie, has begun the transformation to become a Vampire. A fact that doesn't help her process the growing feelings she has for her, feelings that she knows Evie shares. Alone and on the run from the group of Hunters she called friends, and with limited time before Evie must complete the transformation or die, Lena seeks a distraction. A job she can do, people she can save and something monstrous that she can hit. Hard. But one thing's for sure, no job is ever easy.
