At a secret military installation in the Florida Keys, a biological oddity has been kept in a tank for study—a shark unlike any other. Marine biologist Adrien Corbel and his team hoped to unlock its mysteries. But the experiment has failed. The predator has escaped.

Now it’s carving a path of carnage down the coastline, its appetite insatiable, its aggression beyond anything natural. Destroying the beast would be enough of a challenge—until a dangerous new drug seeps into the waters, fueling the frenzy to impossible levels.
