A great series for fans of the True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse novels or the Underworld franchise to sink their fangs into. The Fury of a Vampire Witch features a dark and twisty romance, action that could even get a vampire's heart pumping, and a snarky badass heroine.

Cupids Chaos

It's Valentine's Day for Mercy and her cohorts. Wouldn't you know it, cupids are spreading chaos that twists love and threatens everything her vampires have worked towards? Of course, the cupids are only the tools of an old enemy. There is plenty of action, adventure, and danger to be had. The world needs saved and Mercy is just the vampire witch queen for the job.

This story pulled me in pretty fast. It is fast paced, with some great characters, and world building. There are vampires, werewolves, witches and other magical creatures. After this story, I will no longer think of Cupid as a cute angelic cherub. There is an underlying humor to the work, which I enjoyed. Overall, excellent story and excellent narration. I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Cupid Darts Go Awry

I was entertained by the 7th book in "The Fury of a Vampire Witch" series. Mercy had to deal with Cupid's arrows, but instead of sowing love, Cupid's arrows were sowing chaos. Once the audiobook started, I listened to it in one sitting. The tale was humorous. There were some surprising twists. A few familiar characters became involved in the confusion. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Kelley Hazen's narration was great as her performance added to the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

An oh so enjoyable, unique 5 star read

Bloody Hearts (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 7), my sixty-first read from author Theophilus Monroe. Theophilus Monroe & his cast of crazy characters has become one of my favorite reads. Another well written & enjoyable read, the seventh in his new Fury of a Vampire Witch series featuring Mercy Brown. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Kelley Hazen’s outstanding narration as always, adds to the book’s enjoyment. I look forward to reading the next book in the series, Bloody Moon (The Fury of a Vampire Witch Book 8) when it's published in May, it's already on my TBR list. Wow.

I never know where these stories are going to go, and I end up enjoying them every time. I really enjoyed the exploration of what love is, and the way Mercy and Alice came to terms with their places in each others lives. After all the events of the last 7 books, I feel like Dr. Cain needs to pay a visit to Rhode Island. Kelly’s performance was amazing as per usual. There were a few issues with editing where phrases were repeated, but overall another success.
