Average

As many of these stories do, it dragged on a little bit. It was a good storyline, the characters were likeable. I really enjoyed the male voice actor, but the female voice actor got on my nerves. She overacted quite a lot and I found that I had to turn down the volume many times when she was reading. So now I just need to decide if I'm going to listen to the second book. Sounds like a little bit too much drama for me so I might just stop here.

Male narrator great -female average little dramatic “sounding” hard to attach feeling or invested-if that makes sense - the story good-not great but will read second if I can get past female narration .

Horrible MMC

Horrible might be strong. But I did not like the MMC. He’s not a good dad and barely has and redemption. Even with the cliffhanger, I will not be listening to book 2.
