Christian historical small town romance audiobook. A woman determined to hide. A joyful man with the heart of a wanderer. Eloise carefully guards her emotions because life is painful. Zeke knows this world is full of trouble and therefore tries to find as much joy as he can. Will these two sides of the same puzzle will these two hearts find their way together?

Grieving, Eloise doesn't want to open her heart because then it won’t have any reason to break again. When a lost traveler tumbles into her solitude, she’s forced to consider if God still has good things for her. Carefree Zeke James searches for fun and adventure. Act now, figure it out later. After weeks of lonely travel, a scandalous chance meeting throws him into the path of an enchanting and aloof woman. When a misguided attempt to defend Eloise’s honor lands Zeke in trouble, he’s left to choose between dreams he’s carried since childhood and the chance to bring light to an aching heart.

With sprinkles of humor and deep emotion, this Christian romance offers a picture of hope as a relentless God leads two drifting hearts home. Written by a human and read by humans, emelle and Stuart Gauffi.

I read this book several years ago and liked it, but I just finished listening to it and I enjoyed in a whole new level. The flow of the writing, and descriptions of the todler were great. The amount of wrong assumptions by Zeke and Eloise were comical. The discussions of God and scripture were natural and honest. I very much enjoyed this book.

Wonderful

The misunderstandings between the 2 main. characters are hilarious, but not in that "JUST TELL HER/HIM ALREADY" sort of way. Like it totally makes sense why Zeke thinks Eloise is unavailable, and it goes for so long without him understanding 😂
If you're looking for a "spicy" romance with explicit sex scenes, move along, this book is not for you. Sweet and entertaining with just a sprinkle of God.

Such a sweet/humorous story ♥️♥️♥️
