In doing so, she’ll uncover a crooked politician, unveil a hidden monster and unearth a web of secrets & lies that certain residents of the town have spent their lives concealing. And, with a little luck, she may just survive long enough to clear her good name.

The AI reader hurt the book

It was a good Story but the AI reading was flat and terrible so the story did not come to life. This was my second Ai book. No more. Not worth my time.

Not a fan or virtual voice

Like robots? Boring to listen to. I don't think I'll choose a virtual voice story again.

Horrible narration. AI is not the way!

This had potential, I was sad it didn't keep my attention. The narration was just terrible. I couldn't even tell you anything about this story because I spaced out so much. I couldn't follow who was who or what was going on. I would recommend skipping this, which hurts me to say.

Virtual voice not great

Virtual voice really needs some work. There were pauses and acronyms that it just couldn’t grasp and it made things difficult to follow. Story was good.

Mixed feelings

Idea of story was ok but I did not like the idea of the weak characterization of the detective. Also the virtual reader was bad.
