Crazy eyes. You know the ones: the empty, soulless eyes of a person who has nothing left inside - nothing but a bottomless pit of insanity and desperation.

Their eyes lose their sparkle, the very thing that makes them who they are. In place of that, you’ll find nothing more than bitterness. I have those eyes - that same broken soul. The only problem is, I can’t escape it.

Hard to like these characters

I just could not care about Bodhi.He just didn’t seem like a good guy and he seemed to bring out the worst in those around him. This was a sad, depressing book until the end and even then I was left feeling doubtful that this couple could have a HEA.
