By day, Mercy Thompson is a car mechanic in the sprawling Tri-Cities of Eastern Washington. By night, she explores her preternatural side. As a shape-shifter with some unusual talents, Mercy’s found herself maintaining a tenuous harmony between the human and the not-so-human on more than one occasion. This time she may get more than she bargained for.

Marsilia, the local vampire queen, has learned that Mercy crossed her by slaying a member of her clan–and she’s out for blood. But since Mercy is protected from direct reprisal by the werewolf pack (and her close relationship with its sexy Alpha), it won’t be Mercy’s blood Marsilia is after.

It’ll be her friends’.

This story was more action packed. I hate that she’s always the center of all the problems. However, it makes a good story. GA is doing a great job with these books. I hope they will produce more of the series.

Nice addition

I am obsessed with these graphic audiobooks. I loved these books and the audios are so good. Mercy always finds herself in the middle of a mess. This one takes a few turns I don’t see coming. I liked seeing her relationship with Adam and the pack growing. She of course is always so strong when facing things so much bigger than her. We keep learning more and more pieces about what Mercy is capable of. I can’t wait for more.

Fantastic series. Amazing audio

In track 7, could not hear what either the "Oakman" or the "vampire ghost" said. The first because you kept the volume of the vampire too high and it overwhelmed the other actor's voice. The second was just poor-quality editing or vocal choices.

Say what?

I have loved these books for years and this is a fun new way to enjoy them. I love hearing new voices for these characters.
My only down side for this book is with the voice effects added to the ghost vampires I really could not understand what they were saying at all.
I do hope this effect is fixed or just not used later I understood Mrs. Hannah just fine in Blood Bound. I look forward to enjoying the rest of the series this way though.

Fun idea

I absolutely love this series and the voice acting. They read at a great pace & similar to how I would expect the story to flow. Mercy is always getting into trouble. I love her chaotic coyote!

Great pace, excellent voice actors!
