After returning home from her mother’s funeral, Lacey Windham seeks solace in her father, the only parent she has left. However, when her father reveals that she is not who she thought she was, that she was a found adoption, and he hands her an old book and antique necklace, her whole world changes overnight.
Soon, she realizes that she is being watched and followed by someone who seems like he doesn’t belong. He reveals himself and states that she can trust him. She shouldn’t have a reason to feel so nervous, right?
Darkness lurks in every corner, and she must find out who she is and what the significance of these objects is. She must find her birth parents and their connection to these objects that her father has not been able to explain.
Lacey faces a threat shrouded in mystery, one that has the power to destroy her. Will she reach her true destiny in time to save herself?
