Dale Hanson served with Recon Team Florida during one of the legendary missions of SOG, the killing of an enemy colonel who was carrying super-secret documents of enormous importance to the American war effort. After intense fighting, those documents were brought back by the team. Dale survived and went on to serve three tours with the legendary special operations group.

Politics

I very much enjoyed this book from the beginning and how all of the family members were involved, when the current political (My opinion but sounds current) opinion started I stopped listening. My father served in WW2 at 15 years old and got away with it,My Uncle in Korea was never the same, my father in law was in Khe Sanh one of my best friends was like the author,a hunter. Had current political bs been left out mabe I would have finished listening to the story of this brave man

Hire a professional narrator

A story worth telling. Unfortunately the author reduced it to a recitation of a recipe for making bread.

Finally a philosophically driven warrior instead of simple lovers of chaos

This hero reminds me of my dad. Christian man volunteered to stop an invading, torturous evil into our ally’s country and did it with style to an exquisite degree. Some of the absolute best SOG missions too.
