My Fav Padavona series with my Fav Narrator

I absolutely love every series/characters Dan Padavona has created. The stories are interesting, intriguing and engaging. The characters are well-developed, easy to become invested in and speak and act in realistic, believable ways. There is always a healthy dose of fun, twists, turns and some general mayhem to keep the reader on their toes. Throughly enjoyable top to bottom. This book is no exception.

Scarlett and Logan are my favorite characters of the bunch. Their interplay and complex relationship is unique, witty and somehow endearing. I always find myself rooting for Logan in every single book...even though he is dark...good and bad. I guess that's human nature...

I prefer to listen to this series (and the standalone Scarlett Bell series) on Audible. This is due ENTIRELY to the narrator, Connie Shabshab, who narrates both of these series. I listen to dozens of audio books each year, and over the years, I can only count on one hand the narrators that really do stories justice. IMHO, she is one of those 5. I have listened to everything she has narrated (by Dan Padavona), it is just such a good experience.

Her pacing is superb, her ability to provide different voices for each character is spot on, and she consistently voices the proper accent or affect for each character once they appear in the story. I never have to struggle to determine which character is speaking. Her voice is appealing and fits perfectly with how I imagine Scarlett would sound. I love her take on Logan. She quite literally brings the book to life. She provides a completely immersive experience. Please continue to use her in these productions!

I can hardly wait for Silent Dolls to be released on audiobook. I look SO forward to each book in this series! I am never disappointed with any of Dan Padavona's thrillers. Highly recommend. These books are great fun and escapism.

The Logan and Scarlett series is worth the listening time. I’ve enjoyed everything Dan Padavona has written. The only thing I have found is that the narrator doesn’t really fit the part. However I like the series so much it’s worth it. If you can’t get past the narrative I would suggest checking all of his books out on Kindle.
This book is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
