Sweet life on the farm it could get someone killed.

When a disillusioned big city exec buys a hobby farm in her hometown, she plans to launch a cozy inn among adorable animals. The only hitch? In quaint Clover Grove, the good life comes with a side order of mayhem, mystery and murder.

Ivy Galloways border collie is a certified canine genius. When she rescued Keats, the dog helped her put a killer behind bars, and when murder comes to Runaway Farm, he's ready to do the same again. This dog loves a job and his eerily accurate intuition leads Ivy into some strange and dangerous places.

The chief of police, AKA Chief Hottie, asks Ivy to play it safer, but these amateur sleuths aren't easily deterred. With Keats sheepdog savvy and Ivy's decades of experience in human resources, they become a skilled crime-solving team, alongside an inquisitive cat, eccentric animals and quirky friends.

No matter how much dirt they dig up, one thing is certain Ivy and Keats will keep rescuing each other all over again.

Pure cozy fun that will make you laugh and keep you guessing right to the very end!

This collection contains the following titles:

Dogcatcher in the Rye: Can newfound sleuthing skills help Ivy and her brilliant sheepdog stop a killer before they're targeted next?

Dark Side of the Moo: When a guest turns up dead in a cow stall, Ivy and Keats try to find the bad apple on the HR team before the killer strikes again and Ivy is downsized for good.

A Streak of Bad Cluck: With everyone in a flap, can Ivy & Keats fly under the radar long enough to catch the killer?

This seems to be a cute PG cozy mystery series, While I probably would not purchase these novels individually, the 3-book package was worth a try. I liked most of the main people characters with the exception of Ivy's mother, who had 6 children she refused to support. Loved the border collie and various farm animals.

Yes, her jerk husband abandoned the family, which was wrong, but Mom was still the responsible adult who should have worked multiple jobs if necessary. Even worse, once her children were adults, Mom stopped working all together, expecting the kids to pay her rent, buy her groceries and provide transportation, etc.

Love the Pets and Farm Animals

This is not the normal type of book I usually listen but I enjoyed smiling during the entire audiobook. Good character development and fun predicaments.

Fun

The first book portrayed a flawed but engaging character. The second book had her as a pathetic and appartly helpless person. Lots of pointless conversations. Lots of a character apparetly unable to make a decision or have an opinion. I didn't finish the second book. I don't know if I can bring myself to try the third. I really needed a quirky upbeat character and books. the first was. The second was painful.

the first book was OK. the second was embarrassing.
