A fake marriage. A desperate escape. A bond that becomes all too real.

Marius Jacobson has six months until he can access his trust fund and escape his abusive family. But when they arrange his marriage to a notoriously cruel alpha, his timeline collapses. Desperate, he proposes a deal to Aubrey Spinner—the only alpha who's ever treated him with kindness: a fake marriage, a fabricated bond, and freedom at the end.

Aubrey knows he owes Marius's family everything. But watching them sell their omega son to a monster is a debt he can't repay with silence. He agrees to the deception, expecting six months of careful pretending.

He doesn't expect to fall in love.

Living together, they build something neither anticipated—genuine partnership and a connection that makes their fake bond feel startlingly real. When Marius's first heat hits and the truth spills out, they face an impossible choice: maintain the lie or risk everything on something authentic.

A contemporary omegaverse romance featuring a protective alpha architect, a brilliant omega finding his freedom, knotting, heat, found family, and a guaranteed HEA.

I honestly gave the story my best. It was torturous having to listen to the story repetitions. The beginning was good that it had all the makings of a good book. When they(the Alpha and his omega) watched movies every Friday only to hear they've only stayed together for 3 weeks didn't make sense considering how it was stated. The grocery shopping conversation was one of those unnecessary repetitions(this is the one where they met with the other Alpha). The studying etc in that short space of time(1 month together),well it was exhausting. The meeting friends second time conversation was awkward for someone who has met them previously. When the omega was in heat I guess I expected more from both of them.
