This is a standalone, first book in a new sweet cozy mystery series filled with humor, suspects, and lots of books! It also has some mild paranormal elements, but is suitable for all ages.

mediocre at best

I'm not 12 so I can't give a fair review to this attempt at young adult drama.

Cute

A small town a quiet job as a Liberian till Murder happens. With friend they dig in to solve. Enjoyed the audio had a good voice for this cozy mystery. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Spotty entertainment

There are parts of the story that I found interesting, but the characters were unbelievable. I might have been more enthralled if it weren't for the irritating voice of the narrator. The best part of this story is that is was short.

Don’t go by my rating, see the review for why

I made it partway into Ch 6 and had to give up. I’d like to know what happens, but the supporting characters’ voices set my teeth on edge. I have no doubt they’re supposed to be whiny and annoying—and they are. The narrator has that nailed! The narrator’s normal voice (what she uses for the main character) is fine to listen to, but the other women? I just can’t.

Light and Cozy Mystery

Bound to Die is a short and cute cozy mystery. Angel Clark does a good job as narrator.
