I’ve always believed in fated mates. It’s one of those stories you grow up hearing in the pack—one soul destined for yours. Still, I never expected to find her in a place like the Ring, surrounded by blood, sweat, and the kind of darkness I’ve made my home.

One look at Maggie, and the world stops. She’s light. She’s steady. She’s everything I’ve never had and everything I shouldn’t want.

She doesn’t know what I am. Hell, she doesn’t even know who I am—not really. She has a boyfriend. A good job. A life built on rules and responsibility. And I’m the brooding fighter she met in the shadows.

But none of that matters to the wolf inside me. To him, she’s already mine.

I can’t force the bond on her. I won’t. So I wait—give her space, give her time, hoping she’ll feel the pull too. Hoping she’ll choose me.

But secrets have a way of clawing to the surface, and Maggie’s about to learn just how dangerous my world really is. If she walks away, I’ll let her go. I’ll do the right thing.

But I’m not walking away and I’ll never stop wanting her.

This dark, rejected-mate shifter fantasy romance features fated mates, second chances, and a guaranteed happily ever after. If you love complete romantasy series, possessive alpha males, and protective heroes, this dark fantasy romance for adults is for you."

The story was pretty good, but it could have been much better if read by a human or at least virtual voice that had been taught inflection, or proper pronunciation of certain words. When reading lines that were being said by a male in the story, the voice barely changed, if at all, which sometimes made it hard to follow who was saying what.
The story was good enough to keep me listening even though the virtual voice had me wanting to move on to another book.

Virtual voice does this book no justice

Thin, undeveloped characters with an interesting plot. The writing potential is there, but falls short
