Disappointing

I really enjoyed the Dark Desires Origin trilogy but I couldn’t even finish this first book of Dark Desires. Rico was just a horny blah individual and Skyler who supposedly is a military operative comes across as a confused teenager. There is more erotica than I care for even though I probably only listened to about a third of the book. Ms. Spector didn’t help with her overblown performance and giving Skyler a little girl voice.
