I read other reviews which seemed to say this book had little to do with D.I.D. Clearly these reviewers did not read the book. Every paragraph reveals how various elements of his life were shaped by his experience with DID. He references his “alters” constantly. Perhaps the reviewers had no attention span, but seriously- this was ALL ABOUT DID.

All about DID.

It is a great book for anyone that may have just been diagnosed, or may know someone who is living with DID, to see how people can not only live with this disorder but perform life at the highest level when it is controlled.

Great Book to See How DID Affects Someone's Life

I’m amazed by Herschel”s openness and willingness to share painful, embarrassing parts of his life in an effort to help others. Very few people knew these things about him in 2008, and yet he chose to make these stories public information. How selfless to open himself to the judgement and criticism of so many people, just to help. It takes an extremely strong person emotionally to take on that challenge. I hope people will see past the bad stories and focus on his willingness to help others (and himself).
Thank you, Herschel!
