great audiobook

awesome audiobook. Kimberly was superb. she should do more audiobooks someday. it's a shame she had to go through what happened to her

I don't care what others have said...

In 1986 I was shot in my hand by some idiot with a 12 gauge shotgun. It was loaded with number 7 bird shot. My left wrist and hand were chewed to pieces. Thus began a 4 year Odyssey to recover. I now know I had some form of PTSD, admittedly a mild form, (I'd never compare myself to those who've survided and IED) but PTSD none the less. Listening to her book brought back many bad memories of this experience. I must give her a lot of credit for having the courage to first remember what happened and for writing it down for the world to see. Kimberly is a very courageous person indeed. Thanks for writing this book it's really helped this old jarhead to understand what I went though.
