When people and communities are ready to address poverty....

Bridges Out of Poverty champions alliances of support, and helps individuals and communities that are ready to break free of poverty. Rather than creating reliance, Bridges' communities create new understanding, skills, resources, and motivation. As a result, Bridges is embraced by tens of thousands of people who represent hundreds of communities, six countries, and a diverse range of political, racial, economic, geographic, and other identities.

The fifth edition guides communities, and professionals who work with people experiencing poverty. An innovative, yet practical, human- and community-centered solution, Bridges creates sustainable communities where everyone can live well.

I Love the whole book. I am sold on the ideas and inclusion of methods, involving all sectors and classes of society. The ideas allow different method adaptation for different communities, as necessary. I would recommend this book to all, especially those who want an inclusive community, that thrives, and empowers all.

I was given the book at work but decided to listen to it first on Audible. I’m excited to go through the physical book, take notes and create change in my community.
The audible version was very easy to follow and listen to. In fact, I listened to its entirety in one day.
