Love narrating

Story was not exciting plus need to read next book to get ending imo , disappointed

Fitzroy is annoying

I like the story but Fitzroy’s confusion and indignant anger towards Charity’s mistrust of him is ridiculous. How does he not get where that comes from? I also despise the way he treats her with disrespect. They’ve made Charity look too naive and silly in this book when she actually is more pragmatic and logical than Grace, but they’ve made her look more temperamental and weaker than Grace here. (Pardon the reference to character from previous series)

Unexpectedly interesting

The story is intriguing and the relationship between the two main characters is very enjoyable - both smart and bold. Narrator is outstanding - she brings the whole story alive in a riveting way!
