Incredibly compassionate

This book is one of one. It isn’t something I will ever forget. Written in such a simple, easy to understand way. I have already recommended it to multiple people. For anyone that has a prodigal in their life, and even for people that don’t but want to understand and have empathy for people that do, this book is a must read. What a gift.

Compassion

I often wept as I listened to this book. The message is an important one for those who want to know how to raise children, to deal with "difficult" children, and to hope for Prodigals. Even more importantly I believe this is a message for churches and church leaders on emphasizing God's priorities in our communities. Finally, it is a challenge for all of us to see that before God we are all Prodigals. We all need to see our own brokenness, and our own need to "live" at the foot of the Cross. That is where we need to pray for our Prodigals and where we ourselves will also will most fully experience the love of God the Father who is running to meet us.

Helped me rethink what we as the church call a prodigal and inspired me to not give up for the young adults who in my way of thinking has turned their backs on God!
