Best revenge on a cheating man?
A dozen eggs.
A stolen dog.
And a night with his very best friend.

After a two-year struggle to conceive ends with her husband getting another woman pregnant, Grace "Britches Get Stitches" Evans is taking out her frustrations on the roller-derby track. Full-contact violence and absolutely no cheating men? Best divorce-support group ever.

With the help of her teammates, Grace is reclaiming one piece of her broken heart at a time - starting with the family dog, which she lost in the divorce. When the dognapping ends with a call to the police, the best revenge shows up at her door in the form of Officer Jason Bradley. He's hot. He loves animals. And he's her ex-husband's best friend.

Then her ex does the unimaginable, threatening everything she has left as well as the new life she's started to build. Only Grace isn't the woman he kicked to the curb anymore. Derby has taught her a priceless lesson....

How to hit back.

Britches Gets Stiches was such a great story and fun to read. While this was the 2nd book in a series, I had absolutely no issues reading as a stand-alone. Lots of laughs and very heartwarming. I'm newer to Elicia Hyder and haven't been disappointed yet. And with such great characters, I am definitely going to be picking up the first novel, Lights Out Lucy!!

Amazing Author, Fun Story!!

Oh my goodness, I loved the book when I read it! But, hearing it read to me was oh so much better! I didn't want to stop till I was done hearing about Grace, Body, and the Roller Derby team. A must for all fans of the Music City Rollers Series. No disappointment here.

Grace's Story

I loved this story so much. Grace has been done dirty by her ex in the worst way. She is working to rebuild her life. She does not always make the best choices and in all honestly it is understandable. Jason was the best man at her wedding and is the hot cop that shows up to talk to her about some of her choices. You can tell throughout the story Jason has carried a torch for Grace for a very long time. This book was very emotional. I cried sad and happy tears with Grace. Got to see more of West and Lucy in this story which I loved, Roller Derby rocks and the friendships were still a huge part of this story. Highly recommend this book and this series.

Grace must pick up the pieces of her life after her divorce and she does it with roller derby. Elicia Hyder, the author does an excellent job of capturing the excitement and sisterhood of roller derby. Grace’s struggle of getting over Clay, was alleviated by the rough and tumble sport of roller derby. Sweaty, bruised, and exhausted, Grace skates into a new love life with Officer Jason Bradley (Officer Eye Candy). The story is engaging, funny and loving. Grace has a wonderful support system with the roller derby friends, her employees, and her family. Lucy and West, who appeared in Lights Out Lucy are featured in this story.

Funny and engaging
