This book did EXACTLY what everyone said it would! It absolutely tore my damn heart out 😩
Having experienced an unbelievable loss in my life it took me a WHILE to pick up this book.
When Ramsey went down to the pier and screamed until her throat was raw I just kept seeing myself sitting on the floor of my shower doing the exact same thing 🥺
When you lose someone you love more than life itself their leaving feels like someone ripped away a piece of your soup that you're not sure you can live without...
And just like with Ramsey, the only reason I think my body didn't just expire from a broken heart is because I had my daughter who needed me to keep trying to stay...
I foolishly thought that I was ready to dive in once the audiobook was released...lol I was DEAD wrong 😏
It ended up taking me almost 3 weeks to finish it. The extra bonus epilogue that's available in the audiobook was everything that I needed though. I can only hope that it is what it will be like for me too 🥹

4.5 I would have given this a lower rating if it weren't for the bonus epilogue this book would have a lower rating. my only other comment was the inconsistency of the female narrator with the male voices. not enough for me to put down the audio and pick up the book but definitely noticeable.
