Not as good as previous books in the series

If you binge on the Fox’s adventure, as I did, some parts become redundant and a little boring. Some investigative oversights feel frustrating . Good character development but an easy to guess ending

The character development continues to strengthen throughout the series and especially in Book 5 (Broken Ties).

Couldn’t quit listening, lots of things I’ve developed that we’re coming to ahead from previous books

Outstanding

I really enjoyed this book (and the series). The journey was faced paced, but had some humorous moments. I was completely taken by surprise by the ending. I love stories with strong women characters who in the end show they are human; yet do what is needed. The narrator was excellent, as she has been throughout the series. Can’t wait for the next book and hope there are many more, because Kate needs to be heard. Thank you Shannon Baker

Hope for many more

Great series. Love the character development. Some parts are a bit of a leap of faith. But all in all quite entertaining. I hope there are more because I am always looking for a good mystery with no food, bookstores or cats.
Narrator was perfect.
