A powerful and enlightening book

This is an insightful book on human nature and the power of creativity. These inner city kids discover the pressure release value of expressing themselves through poetry. This creates a bond of acceptance and understanding of one another that crosses racial and ethnic barriers as well as socioeconomic differences. This book belongs in every highschool library. Teachers and parents will love it too.

I don't like to read so I was glad I could listen to it but this book is amazing and very intriguing❤️

Bronx Masquerade poetry was music to my ears!

I enjoyed the Novel with the expressive performances by the readers, it bought the story to life!

Long lost fav

I have been looking for this book ever since I was in middle school and finally I got to listen to it. it was my favorite back then. I listened to it in one night at work, so I'm sad it was so short. but I LOVED the different voices and stuff.

poorly written

offensive. this book displays people as though they are uneducated victims. it is hard to follow if you have an understanding of grammar. I, personally, do not like any book that depicts any race of people as idiots. this book is the opposite of educational. don't waste you life's moments on it.
