Eleven-year-old Rosey Sachs is worried about her school writing assignment. How can she write anything interesting about her ordinary life in Brooklyn? Sweet historic window in time!

This book was a breath of fresh air! A simple and sweet window in time and important in our current immigration circumstances in this country! I absolutely love the narrator also and found this book looking for Barbara Rosenblat.
