Treats to kill

Good clean read and a few twists and turns. Great to listen to while driving or trying to relax after stressful day

Great book! Who doesn't love Brownies or a good mystery!

Good narration. Love the storyline. Started with this book in the series which is #2 so now I am going to find book 1. The older woman sounds like someone you would enjoy meeting in real life. I can't wait to find out in the next book3 if Megan and officer Jack become a couple. Megan's assistant sounds like a sweet young lady who is also a friend to her and an asset in the town and her business. Poor Megan to be accused twice of murder by using her food from her business can not be easy to deal with and to be able to clear her name. Priceless! Now how much will her business increase?

Story was cute But predictable. Not hard to guess who did it at all. Good characters

Perfect for young mystery lovers

The plot is fine for a cozy and it certainly meets all the criteria for a cozy. It’s just that the sentence structure and dialogue kept reminding me that I was listening to a middle school book. It’s very light listening for anyone at any age and there is little bit of excitement to provide interest.

Another Dessert related mystery!

This is the second story in the Sandy Bay Mystery series. Meghan's bakery is finally doing well again after being blamed for murder in the last story. She is asked to provide brownies for a charity, and of course someone is murdered. What follows is some funny events that lead to the actual murderer. I found this one just as entertaining and interesting as the last one. Definitely enjoyable and Elena Marino is a wonderful narrator.
