Non-stop thriller wiith romance

Dani is a reporter trying to fix a career mistake with an investigative story on this militia group. Grizz is a hardcore, exceptional firefighter that saves Dani when she gets in over her head and the team is back under fire as they work to save Dani and find out answers to what is really going on in their camp. I enjoy the mystery and the clean, but exciting story lines! The narration is great except when the male narrator tries to do the female firefighter's voice -she sounds like a man and it throws me off in the story. Overall, I really like both narrators - they are easy to listen to and do well switching between characters. I wish the romances took a little longer to build up, get to know each other, but it's a nice, clean, short romance with lots of exciting action going on around them.

Each book in this exciting series is a mystery tied to a shady, mercenary group hiding in the Alaskan mountains and the firefighting group keeping the Alaskan mountains safe. Each character has their own back story to overcome or work through as they fight fires, work with the FBI and move ever closer to finding the answers to disarming the militia/ mercenary group and what the group is trying to do. It's a great plot.
