but not this time, it was a complete surprise.

This author deserves a lot more attention

The Clint Wolf mystery series by BJ Bourg includes 13 audio novels each of which is 5 to six ours in length. The novels are tightly woven and fast moving. The plots are outstanding. The characters are well developed and the main characters are likable. Narration by Thomas Stone is perfect.
