Forever love!

This novella is a short and sweet friends to lovers story that is beautifully written. This story reminds us that all the money and success in the world doesn’t necessarily make you happy. In fact it can sometimes make you incredibly lonely.
Two young boys fell in love but wanted to make a name for themselves in the world. One with his music and the other with his writing. Nico knew from the beginning that King would be famous someday. Despite their love for each other he knew they were headed in different directions.
King loved Nico but was driven to write and sing. In his youth he felt compelled to achieve success no matter what it took...or so he thought.

This book is a true life lessons story. Achieving success come with a lot of responsibility that may ask you to sacrifice the things that truly mean the most in life. King had to ask himself is that sacrifice really worth it? I really enjoyed getting to know both character’s. This narrator is new to me but I think he brought the characters to life beautifully. I give this story a 4 and the performance a 4.5

Sweet feel good

I loved it!! I have a weakness for second chances and I was admittedly a little nervous about how she was going to pull off the balance needed for this in a shorter book but she managed to pull it off fantastically. I loved their back story and they were so sweet together. You could really feel the connection and love.

This is such a sweet second chance at love! King and Nico are so sweet together. This is definitely a sweet story that I just needed to listen to right now. Michael Fox does such a beautiful job with this narration. He definitely brings these characters and story to life. I love listening to this story!

This was so, so sweet.

Second chances are my automatic byu, absolute favourite trope, and previous books from Teodora Kostova have always been a hit with me. So I decided I would listen to this one. And I am so glad I did!
This is exactly the kind of sweet, comforting book you need to read when you want to wrap yourself up in a cozy blanket and relax.
King and Nico are sweet characters, they never stopped loving each other even when they decided to go their separate way as they were younger, it was just their circumstances separating them, not the lack of love.
And as soon as his circumstances change, King does everything in his power to have his Nico back in his life!

A sweet romance

After nearly 10 years apart a world known rockstar and is just making a name for himself ex are pushed back together.
It’s a really sweet with a bit of angst romance.
The narrator did well and most of the time I know how was talking and thinking what.
This was a really pleasant happy listen.
