Robert J. Charles champions compassionate self-reflection exercises that are sure to bring about awareness in even the most frenetic individual. In chapter 9 of the final segment, he advocates for sitting in one’s emotions and laying out each event in which to work through. He discusses how these techniques may not be a full release of anxiety, but they offer control over our thoughts and a positive way forward. Attachment disorders go hand-in-hand with CBT-type therapies, so it was really nice to have them packaged together like this for not only understanding, but ways to move through emotional turmoil with mindful awareness.
