When Ethan Ward, a driven and successful lawyer, escapes to a secluded mountain cabin for a weekend of much-needed solitude, the last thing he expects is company. But a booking mishap leaves him sharing close quarters with Adrian Flynn, a carefree freelance photographer with a knack for easing tensions with his easy smile.
Trapped by a fierce spring snowstorm, the two strangers find themselves thrown into an unexpected camaraderie, sharing stories by the glow of a crackling fire. As the cold intensifies outside, the heat between them sparks, uncovering hidden desires and a connection deeper than either anticipated.
As the weekend unfolds, Ethan, who has always controlled every aspect of his life, finds himself questioning whether he can let go enough to embrace what Adrian offers. Meanwhile, Adrian, who lives life one adventure at a time, discovers that his latest adventure might have more at stake than just a temporary fling.
"Cabin Fever" is a MM romance that explores what happens when two very different worlds collide in the most intimate of settings. Can Ethan and Adrian find a common ground in their unplanned retreat, or will the storm outside freeze the budding warmth between them?

As I read, I couldn't help but think that I'm a lot like Ethan - same sense of humor, same awkwardness, same desire for connection. It was like reading about myself, minus the whole being-stuck-in-a-cabin-with-a-hottie thing (unfortunately!).
The story is a classic romance setup, but Coxx executes it well, delivering a sweet romance that's perfect for a quick afternoon read.
What I enjoyed most about this book is its lighthearted, playful tone. Coxx's writing is engaging, making it easy to get swept up in the story. The characters are likable and relatable, and their chemistry is undeniable.
If you're looking for a quick, feel-good read to cleanse your palate between heavier books, "Cabin Fever" is a great choice.
