Disappointed

The reading sucks, the lack of inflection and lack of change between characters makes it hard to follow along. Many mispronunciations that had me going back to figure out what was meant. Some parts of the actual story confused me, not sure if I missed things due to the reading or if it was the writing. The story sounded good but I almost stopped before listening when I seen it wasn’t read by an actual human as I haven’t like any of the audio books done with this technology.

Cute short cozy mystery

This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I’m pretty sure there are previous books. It was obvious I was supposed to already know the characters and some of the back story. However it wasn’t hard to follow and I didn’t mind at all. I liked the story - it was a great afternoon listen while I did some cleaning and other stuff. If you like cozy mysteries I recommend this. A dog, a wedding, a Bridezilla, and a stolen necklace. A fun little caper! I will go back and read or listen to the rest of the series.

I don’t love virtual voice but I don’t mind it - it’s better than some real narrators I’ve heard lol.

Don't bother

This was terrible! Feels like the story started in the middle and was hard to catch on. Could never get into any of the characters and the narrator was terrible. Don't waste a credit on this series!
