When marketing executive Jessie Malone reluctantly returns to her childhood summer camp for an adult nostalgia weekend, she expects bug spray, awkward reunions, and maybe a mild existential crisis.

She does not expect the camp’s charismatic counselor to vanish overnight.

As Camp Maple Echo slips from quirky retreat into quiet panic, Jessie teams up with her relentlessly optimistic childhood friend Cal Becker to figure out what really happened. Between suspicious campfires, half-remembered grudges, wellness rituals gone awry, and a growing list of people who know more than they’re saying, Jessie finds herself pulled into a mystery she can’t ignore.

With the camp director trying to keep everything afloat, campers hiding secrets behind forced smiles, and clues scattered from the boathouse to the canoe dock, Jessie must uncover the truth before nostalgia turns into something far more dangerous.

Camp Crime and Punishment is a cozy mystery filled with sharp humor, nostalgic chaos, and a lakeside whodunit where everyone has a past—and someone is counting on it staying buried.

Overall I liked the story line and that it is not a romance. There was no gore or profanity and the story still managed to be entertaining.

The story and narrator did a great job to catch my interest and keep it. As the suspense built the combination made me keep the story going after I got home from a 2 hour drive and made me make a meal and settle in to listen to the rest. Hope you collaborate again

Narration and story made for a great listen.

This was a fun, easy read. A reminder that nostalgia can be fun a place to visit but sometimes comes with twists and surprises. I enjoy cozy mysteries and this one was enjoyable...a nice escape from real life in the middle of winter! The narrator does a nice job with the various voices. I did speed it up a bit but I have done the same with other books as well.
