Snake Surprise

Mark Williams loves snakes. He likes holding them, feeding them, and playing with them. But most of all he enjoys scaring people with them. He has some pet snakes of his own, and he takes them out as much as possible. No store, house, or school is safe as long as Mark is there.

Eventually everyone begins to get tired of Mark’s constant pranks. He is always taking out a snake, or leaving it in odd places to scare people. His friends and family have had enough, along with his teachers. One day, he meets an unusual old lady at a birthday party, and she isn’t impressed by his games. She leaves him with a stern warning, but he quickly forgets about her.

Soon after, he begins to find snakes all over the place. In his bed, his desk, even in his shoes. All different sizes and colors. The joke is now on him, and he becomes haunted by the very creatures he loves. Not even his dreams are safe. Mark is beginning to realize that scaring people isn’t much fun.
