I LOVE info-tainment books -- this should be perfect for me. I can't believe how short each chapter was: literally only a few minutes each. I could imagine picking up this physical book, reading 2 chapters, putting it down again, and feeling good about my newly acquired trivia. As an audiobook though, this just constantly left me wanting more.

Probably better as a coffee table book

I go through a lot of fun fact books and most don't give too much of a story with the facts. this book does tell you a little back story with the facts which is often more fun than the facts themselves.

this book might be decent for kids, but a lot of the chapters answered obvious questions, or didn't answer the question at all. a lot of chapters were basically "some people think this, while others think that."

disappointed

This audio book is marketed with a release date of 2019, but much of the ‘current’ info is, sadly, very out of date. That made more sense when I checked the original print date - 2015. Ordinarily that wouldn’t make much difference, but after the discourse on “how a telephone works” (which is almost at the end of the book) I finally realized why. Glad I listened for free. Returning it.

Pretty disappointed - probably not his fault.

It presents too much unsettled science as fact, and does not give all sides of the argument.
