Couldn’t stand how this guy destroyed the book. Even unable to listen the first chapter.

Awfully bad narration.

I was a bit disappointed in being taken out of the story between mispronunciations and words not being said altogether. That being said, the book is interesting and still is a must read!

The guy should at least read the text once before trying to read and record it, as he constantly stumbles on words unfamiliar to him. Very unprofessional.

Great book, terrible narrator

Candide has been one of my favorite stories since I read it 20+ years ago. The butchery of this narrator’s ability had me reeling by the end of chapter two. Waste of time . Her a better reader, Audible. This one is not good

Awful narrator, timeless story

Inept reading. Avoid this like the worst plague that you can possibly imagine. I hope there is a better version somewhere.
